Nectar
Where? 111 Neils Alley, Lewes, DE 19958 – a five-minute walk from us!
Veggie options? Yes
A much-loved, local spot to get your breakfast and brunch fix, Nectar is open seven days a week from 8am. Handily, it serves breakfast all day, so you can get a range of omelets and breakfast specialties at a time that most suits you during your trip to Lewes. The additional bonus is that it’s so close to us, which means you won’t have to go far if your stomach is grumbling as soon as you wake up!
Honey’s Farm Fresh Gourmet Kitchen
Where? 329 Savannah Rd #1438, Lewes, DE 19958 – an eight-minute walk from us!
Veggie options? Yes
Don’t let their lack of a website catch you out — Honey’s serves some of the freshest food in town. Start with a refreshing glass of freshly squeezed OJ and move on to your choice of eggs, omelets, pancakes, and fresh fruit — we recommend giving the potato latke a try. You may have to wait a little longer on weekends due to their popularity, but servers are always happy to help.
Eggcellent
Where? 109 W Market St, Lewes, DE 19958 – a six-minute walk from us!
Veggie options? Yes
Excellent eggs are the order of the day at Eggcellent (hence the name!), but if omelets, egg sandwiches, or a morning burrito don’t excite you then fear not, there’s also a range of french toast, pancakes, and options to keep the kids happy, too. Open from 7am every day, breakfast is available until 3pm – perfect for both early birds and late risers alike.
Sunny Bay Cafe
Where? 236 Rehoboth Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 – a 16-minute drive from us!
Veggie options? Yes
Started by Laurie Orfanidis and Benjamin Stoner, the Sunny Bay Cafe in Rehoboth Beach is perfect if you’re planning to take in the local area and it offers a whole host of breakfast classics. From a pancake platter to avocado toast, you can fill your boots every day except Tuesday, just a short walk up from the beach.
Rise Up Coffee
Where? 502 Rehoboth Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 – just a 15-minute drive from us!
Veggie options? Yes
If a perfectly brewed cup of coffee is the first thing you think about each morning, then you really need to try a cup of joe from the first of Maryland’s Rise Up Coffee locations here in Delaware. Don’t worry though, because as well as their dedication to hot and cold coffee, you can grab breakfast bowls, burritos, sandwiches, or a classic bagel.
