14 Things You Can Do When You Book Our Venue Room
While most people know us here at The Beacon Inn as a hotel in the great location of Lewes – and our proximity to Rehoboth Beach – what you might not know is that we also have a fantastic venue room available.
What can this room be used for? We’re glad you asked, since there have been a variety of people and groups that have used the space over the years. We wanted to share with you 14 ways in which people have already made great use of the space.
1. Bridal Showers
The ‘Big Day’ might still be a way off, but that’s no reason to limit your celebrations. If you’re the maid of honor or a bridesmaid and you want to throw your bride a shower, then our venue room is ideal. It means you can gather and play games in a group without having to crowd out someone’s house.
2. Family Reunions
With our idyllic location by the coast, there’s no better place to come to for your next family reunion. No doubt it’s been a while since you last got together with the extended family, and in addition to our comfortable rooms, we also have our venue room where you can all catch up.
3. Group Meet & Greet
If you’re planning to get together with a group for the first time – whether it’s something you’ve arranged as part of your business or just a walking group you’ve put together, our venue room is perfect for that first meet and greet session where everyone can get to know each other.
4. Continued Education
Are you holding continued education classes? Need a quiet space to get the work done? Our venue room has been used for this purpose before and is available to book for groups large or small.

We’ve already helped many happy couples to celebrate their love and we hope you’ll keep us in mind for your event. Our space has room for 50 people with spillover into the lobby where needed.

Already planning to stay with us but looking for a simple way to feed your group? You can use our venue space to provide catered meals – breakfast, lunch, or dinner – and keep your group together instead of trying to arrange large bookings in restaurants.

As well as giving any attendees a comfortable room to stay overnight in, we’ve had sales summits held in our venue space to help get people out of the stuffy corporate meeting rooms.
